## Founder Story (Tammy Phan, in her own words)

"I created Blank Space because I wanted a place to get creative without pressure to be perfect. I've enjoyed art growing up, and over time as a long and busy corporate career took over my schedule, I wasn't producing art as much as before. I also wasn't working with my hands, experimenting with colours and expressions, and trying new things.

When I finally could create space to reflect, I wanted to build — a brand, a business, a culture, an experience that invites people of all ages to tap into their creative potential. We are all artistic. We are all creative. We have different outlets. Blank Space provides the tools, know-how, space, and encouragement to be curious, creative, and innovative again in an environment that's vibrant, stress-free, and inviting.

My 8-year-old daughter said it best: 'I want kids and adults to be brave to try their own ideas.' Blank Space is my idea of how to nurture that child-like courage and creativity."

## Age Policy

Sessions are suitable for ages 4 and up. We've found this is the age where children have enough motor control to enjoy motion-paint techniques fully. Below age 4, parents or caretakers must join the child in the art session for extra bonding time and to help with some of the paint pouring techniques.

## Cancellation & Rescheduling

- 24+ hours in advance: full refund OR full amount credited to your next booking.
- Same-day cancellation: 50% of the booking is converted to credit for your next booking.
- Private groups & corporate (6+ guests): 72 hours notice required to reschedule without penalty.

## What to wear / bring

- Wear clothes you don't mind getting paint on. Acrylic paint does not wash out of clothing.
- We provide aprons, gloves, and protective gear, but splatter happens.
- Avoid white. Closed-toe shoes recommended.
- Bring nothing else — paint, canvas, music, and (for evening sessions) glasses are provided. BYOB welcome for evening sessions.

## Drying & artwork pickup

- Painted canvases need at least 24 hours to dry. The thicker the paint, the longer it takes.
- We glaze every artwork to seal and protect the colors.
- We message you when your canvas is ready and arrange pickup or local delivery.

- Basement / sheltered motorbike parking on site.
